Hormonal Harmony: A Functional Medicine Approach to Stress, Hormones, and Health

You're not going to want to miss this! Join Janessa for a relaxing and empowering FREE EVENT to learn how to live a hormonally balanced lifestyle.

Is This You?

  • Do you feel exhausted despite getting "enough" sleep?

  • Are mood swings becoming more unpredictable and intense?

  • Does brain fog interfere with your daily productivity?

  • Are you experiencing unexplained bloating or digestive issues?

  • Has inflammation become your unwelcome companion?

If you answered "yes" to any of these questions, you're not alone—and there's hope beyond simply "managing symptoms."

About This Seminar

Join us for an enlightening hour where we'll explore the interconnection between stress, hormonal fluctuations, and your overall health through the lens of functional medicine.

During different seasons of your life, your body undergoes significant hormonal shifts that can cascade into various uncomfortable symptoms. Rather than merely addressing these symptoms individually, functional medicine seeks to identify and treat their root causes.

Why Attend?

This seminar goes beyond the typical "it's just aging" narrative. You'll gain valuable insights into how a personalized, functional medicine approach can help you reclaim your vitality and well-being during this important life transition.

Unlike traditional medical models that often treat symptoms in isolation, functional medicine examines the whole person—your history, environment, lifestyle factors, and unique biochemistry—to develop personalized treatment plans that address the root causes of your health concerns.

Who Should Attend?

This seminar is designed for individuals who are ready to take charge of their own health and are looking for comprehensive answers to their current health challenges. If you're tired of being told "everything is normal" while still feeling unwell, and you're motivated to become an active participant in your healing journey, this session is for you.

This session is particularly valuable for those experiencing:

  • Stubborn weight gain, especially around the midsection

  • Blood sugar imbalances or prediabetic concerns

  • Low energy, or energy crashes throughout the day

  • Brain fog or low mood

  • Difficulty losing weight despite diet and exercise efforts

  • Digestive concerns such as chronic bloating, irregular bowel movements, Acid Reflux

  • Those who think they feel well, but want to optimize their health for years to come

Ideal for those who are ready to move beyond passive approaches to healthcare and embrace a proactive role in their wellness journey.

Jenessa Mayer Biography:

Jenessa Mayer, PA-C is a functional medicine practitioner whose approach to health has been shaped by the intersection of her agricultural upbringing and rigorous medical training. Raised on a dairy farm north of Milwaukee, Jenessa developed an early understanding of the essential connection between natural environments, whole foods, and human wellbeing—insights that continue to inform her holistic perspective on health.

After completing her physician assistant training, Jenessa dedicated five years to caring for critically ill patients with liver and kidney failure who required organ transplantation. Witnessing countless stories of heartbreak when patients didn't receive life-saving organ transplants in time ignited her passion to help individuals take charge of their health before critical or chronic illness develops. This calling led her to pursue a degree in public health at Johns Hopkins University and become a certified functional medicine practitioner through the Institute for Functional Medicine.

Jenessa gained valuable experience working in an Integrative Health practice in the greater Washington D.C. area for 2.5 years before feeling called to return and serve the Wisconsin community and beyond. Her practice, Cultivate Health, embodies her belief that human health and environmental health are deeply interconnected.

Jenessa's unique methodology combines evidence-based functional medicine protocols with a focus on connecting patients to their higher purpose and local food systems. A long-term vision of her practice is to host events on her family farm that will connect people with their food, nature, and one another.

When not working with patients, Jenessa enjoys perusing farmers' markets, distance running, spending time with her parents, four siblings, and their children, and lying in the grass after a hike.

Jenessa is passionate about empowering individuals on their health journey and helping them uncover their unique path to healing. Her clients appreciate her warm, authentic approach that blends medical precision with the grounded wisdom gained from her agricultural roots.
