Labor and Delivery Educational Class
From Kat Hurst PT, DPT, CAFS and Founder of Tosa PT and Wellness- I had a pretty ‘blah’ experience when I went through the birthing class offered through my OB care. The information was not inclusive for my wife and me. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we were not really welcomed with affirming language or alternative laboring positions/techniques that were more supportive of the difference in our body sizes. Furthermore, the methods seemed forced rather than intuitive. I’m fortunate to have Abby as a friend who offers advice regarding advocacy of body and the plan that feels right for you and your partner as you navigate a unique life experience unlike any other. I hope you will join us in a delightful experience to educate and prepare new parents for what is to come- whether you’ve done it before or stepping into new parent waters!
