Calee Gibbs RD, CD, CDCES, RYT-200

Calee started her regular yoga practice at Tosa Yoga Studio in 2022 and knew that she was in the right place. Calee was encouraged to listen to her body and take variations of poses that felt good to her. This was reinforced by no mirrors! This was something that she hated at first and then realized the purpose. It was to encourage that she listen to the wisdom that her body held.

Since Calee started practicing regularly, yoga meant giving herself the space to practice the self-love and self-care her body needed. It’s a practice in noticing and tending to the mind, heart, and body and it was just what she needed.

After practicing regularly for about a year, she knew that she wanted to deepen her practice and be able to teach others how to do so. In her practice as a Registered Dietitian, she finds that most people don’t get a lot of opportunities to check in with our heart, mind, and body throughout the day. Calee’s goal is to help you make the poses fit your body and provide cues to deepen your physical, emotional, and mental yoga practice.
